Sometimes I would use the hint button ad it would tell me to go back a screen, so I would. Then I would hit it again and it would tell me to go forward. Eventually I had to use the guide, and I wouldnt even be in the right area. The clicking on things wasnt sensitive enough, about wore my finger out tapping.
The game isnt bad. It, like other HOP game stories, can be a bit cheesy. I say "Ugh!" because its kind of all over the place. Im a casual player and felt like the hints took too long to charge. Really, its not about the hints. Its that I couldnt keep track of every missing thing. Usually I dont bother with them so much. The WORST part, and probably reason for the hints was Id put my inventory item on a spit over and over and over and over and over...getting the picture? Right item, right thing--and nothing! Or is touch an item in the HOP over and over and over...ugh! I cant believe I finished.
I enjoyed the game, but like other reviewers, got frustrated when items didnt recognize what youre telling them to do. You just need to drag the item and hold it in position for a few seconds otherwise it bounces back to inventory.
This game is very depressing and hard to follow.
Friends & Followers, Not well orchestrated, plot hard to follow & uninteresting. Some items to be grabbed and/or used throughout story are not responsive to touch, along with having to be dragged multiple times into position in order to be used.
